How many LEDs does it have?
236 in total: 110 red LEDs at 633 nm, 110 near-infrared LEDs at 830 nm and 16 deep near-infrared LEDs at 1072 nm. The two near-infrared wavelengths are invisible to the eye when in use.
How often should I use it?
The manufacturer recommends 10-minute sessions 3 to 5 times a week, over 8 weeks. The brand notes there is no evidence that sessions longer than recommended add anything.
Is it suitable for sensitive skin?
The manufacturer designed the mask for all skin types, including sensitive skin. It recommends a sensitivity test first: run a full session on the inner arm or the back of the hand, then wait 24 hours.
Does it get hot?
No. The mask does not generate heat and should not feel uncomfortable. If your skin feels hot or uncomfortable during a session, stop using it.
