FAQ

How many settings does it have?

Six heat and speed settings, which the manufacturer lists for all hair types, plus a cool shot button that locks in styles.

What is the concentrator for?

Use it when you need drying power in a small area, such as a curl or a wave, or when you want to relax curly hair.

Is it dual voltage?

No. It is built for 110 to 125 volts AC and is not dual voltage, and the manufacturer says not to use it with a voltage converter.

How do I clean it?

Unplug it, remove the rear filter and clear away hair and dust. The manufacturer recommends keeping the filter clean to prolong the life of the dryer.

What are the buttons on the plug?

The plug has an Appliance Leakage Circuit Interrupter (ALCI), a safety feature that turns the dryer off under some abnormal conditions, such as immersion in water. The manufacturer says to press test, then reset, every time you use it to confirm it works.

How do I add volume?

Bend your head upside down while drying and point the airflow toward the roots for lift. When hair is dry, toss your head back and brush it into place.
